This week our little learners in the Bumblebees Room have continued their learning journey about fruits and vegetables. To begin another wonderful week of learning the Bumblebees further extended their interest through a sensory frozen winter vegetables activities (22/8). Using water, small bowls and scoops the children continued exploring vegetables through small group play.
Our little learners continued learning about different fruits and vegetables today using a potato to create potato prints on their paper (24/8).
What the Bumblebees learnt this week through their interest:
* Opportunities for Imaginative Play
* Opportunities to explore different senses through play
* Opportunities to develop their fine motor skills e.g. using small utensils during their experiences.
* Opportunities to improve our creative skills through new and exciting craft experiences.
* Opportunities to develop social skills including learning to share with others and engage in small group interactions.
Next week (week beginning 29th August) the Bumblebees will continue:
* Continue learning about different fruits and vegetables through different learning areas.
